First the ants, then the earwigs and now wasps and mud daubers!!! We have notice quite a few internal nests this year mainly because of the cold and wet spring we had. Internal nests can be difficult to locate so watch for entry points and be sure not to plug them up or you will force them inside.

THE ANTS GO MARCHING........ We have certainly noticed a huge increase in ants this year compared to last year. Don't let them take up residence in your home. Call for a perimeter treatment to keep ants and other crawling insects out. We welcome your questions.

TIP: Hummingbird feeders not only attract hummingbirds but they can also attract ants and wasps. Try to hang them at least 20 feet away from the house.

SNAKES IN YOUR BASEMENT?? We have been getting calls about snakes inside. Snakes can sometimes be found inside if they know there is a food source there such as rodents. Cold evenings can drive them inside for warmth so check for entry points and try to seal off as many as you can. This will keep the rodents out as well. Snakes do more good than harm so please allow them to leave safely.

Be Careful!!!!! Before you stick you had in your roadside mailbox to grab your mail, check for spiders. A black widow nest was in such a mail box and luckily was treated before anyone was bitten. The Black Widow is not a large spider and likes dark places. She has a hourglass shape on her abdomen which is usually red.
