Tip: Hang wasps bags where you want the wasps to go. Hanging them on or near a patio will just attract more to that area.

A northern black widow spider was found in a home in Port Elgin. Although this is a first for us, we know they are in Grey and Bruce Counties but are rare. Another spider to be on the look out for is the Brown Recluse which is not as rare. Please be cautious and wear gloves when moving wood piles or gardening. We welcome you to bring in any spiders you may find for identification.
